Tim Sweeten, Cincinnati, Ohio

Tim Sweeten has over 16 years of professional management and consulting experience and possesses strong analytical, operational and market knowledge in numerous business sectors.  He is currently a Senior Director at an international healthcare consulting firm and has worked with hospitals across the United States as well as in Europe.

Since 2006, Mr. Sweeten has worked with hospitals to improve patient care, operating margin and case volume.  He and his team accomplish this by conducting interviews with physicians, administration and staff, as well as performing direct observations of the process.  Opportunities are identified and Mr. Sweeten then facilitates teams comprised of surgeons, anesthesia, staff and management to address the issues.

Prior to working in healthcare, he was a Project Manager with a prominent management consulting company and managed process improvement projects centered in government suppliers, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and safety.  His role as Project Manager has led to successful improvement programs that include work flow analysis, cycle time reduction, standardization of best practices, resource utilization, management training, organizational development and Lean initiatives. In addition, Mr. Sweeten worked in an executive consulting role with C-Suite, VP’s, managers and directors throughout the country and in the UK to implement organizational change and business planning initiatives.

Tim lives in Cincinnati with his wife and two children.
